Potamonautes ngoyensis, was described in 2022 as an endemic to the Ngoye Forest in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It was assessed as Vulnerable under sub-criterion D2. One of only three threatened freshwater crabs in South Africa, all restricted to forest fragments. (© Sharon Louw)
