National Biodiversity Assessment 2025
The NBA is the primary tool for monitoring and reporting on the state of biodiversity in South Africa, and is produced by the South African National Biodiversity Institute in partnership with numerous institutions and individuals.
National Biodiversity Assessment 2025 is presented in two formats:
a Summary of Findings and Key Messages publication (available in print and PDF), and
this website, which will feature ~100 pages of scientifically referenced, citable content, with links to relevant detailed technical documentation and academic publications.
